Ístex Lopi Léttlopi is a fine and versatile yarn made from 100% Icelandic wool, traditionally used for classic Icelandic sweaters. Despite its lightweight structure, Léttlopi provides excellent warmth, breathability, and durability, making it suitable for garments worn both indoors and outdoors. The unique properties of Icelandic wool help regulate temperature while protecting against cold and moisture.
Léttlopi creates a soft yet sturdy fabric with good stitch definition, ideal for sweaters, cardigans, scarves, and other everyday garments. The yarn is available in a wide range of colours and is certified according to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, ensuring it is free from harmful substances. Hand washing is recommended to preserve the yarn’s natural qualities.
