Description
Madeira’s Rayon no. 40 is a machine embroidery thread with a gorgeous satin gloss. It is suitable for all embroidery and sewing machines, but it can of course also be used for hand sewing. This colour-fast thread unwraps smoothly from the spool and has a high elasticity (tensile strength) that prevents the thread from splitting or snapping during quilting or embroidery. This combination results in beautifully shiny and even embroidery on all sorts of fabrics, ranging from very fine silks to heavy textiles, such as denim or leather. Rayon no. 40 is made from 100% viscose (rayon), is washable up to 95°C and is certified in accordance to the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 label. Recommended needle size: NM 75-80. Available in several solid and mixed colours and in different lengths.
