Lopi Hosuband is a beautiful yarn, made from 80% Icelandic wool and 20% nylon. The addition of nylon makes this yarn very durable, and perfect for knitting wonderfully warm socks. Hosuband is strengthened with nylon. This makes it especially wear resistant and ideal for knitting socks. Hosuband is also good for strong sweater, mittens, and hats. It can of course also be used for many other projects, such as gloves, hats and sweaters. The recommended needle size is 4.00-4.50mm. One ball of Lopi Hosuband weighs 100 grams and holds 130 metres of yarn. The yarn is available in 7 solid shades and 5 bicolour variants.
